If you have an old roller garage door you may find that due to rust and general wear and tear the door develops problems with opening and closing. This can of course pose a serious security risk, particularly if the garage is attached to your house.
Occasionally people will attempt to make repairs themselves. It may be that if there is trouble with the sliders then a bit of WD40 on the tracks may be enough to lubricate the door back into action.
